April's baseline workout is "Conan the Barbarian" and (much to their chagrin) several people have already done the workout a couple times and actually thrived (okay, survived may be a more accurate term).
Conan the Barbarian
- 05 Double Kettlebell Snatch
- 10 Push-ups
- 10 Pull-ups
- 10 Sit-outs
- 10 rounds for time; average time to complete with Rx'd weight is ~33:30
- Recommended Kettlebell: 53# men and 35# women; scale kettlebell weight as necessary to maintain form and safety throughout workout
Make no mistake - this one sucks! The Double Kettlebell Snatches quickly bleed the life out of your hip snap and the Sit-outs don't help. Give it a try and see what you think!
